London Transactional Analysis Conference 2026
Ignite your growth, share bold ideas, and take your Transactional Analysis practice to new heights — join us in London!
Welcome
The LONTAC team is excited to launch the first London TA Conference on 31st January 2026, right in the heart of the city. We need your energy to make it extraordinary: come connect, grow, and celebrate a powerful day with the TA community!
In Transactional Analysis, we are not just individuals; we are echoes of the communities that raised us, of the hands that shaped our learning. When therapists drift—cut loose from their training, their origins, their belonging—the work itself can become a call back home, a space to sink once again into nourishing ground.
The theme for our first conference is "Re-Rooting".
How do we help people plant new roots in such shifting, unstable soil?
How do we, as a community, plant our own roots anew in ground that is still trembling with change?
This is the spirit behind our gathering:
To weave new shoots and roots from what we carry and what we dream, to anchor ourselves in each other, and to plant seeds that will not only take hold now, but nourish the generations still to come.
This year's theme:
"Re-Rooting"
Imagine a tree.
Its strength is not in the sway of its branches or the shimmer of its leaves, but in the unseen roots—anchoring, nourishing, whispering to the earth.
In the art of psychotherapy, to explore our roots—our histories, our lineages, our Stamm—is not to be trapped by the past, but to listen to the soil that shaped us.
Our roots matter. They are the keepers of our stories, our wounds, and our wonder.
Stamm—that ancient German word for tribe, lineage, the standing-together—reminds us that healing is not a solitary act. It is a weaving, a remembering, a return.
Now, more than ever, we are called to re-root.
In an age of global drift, digital mirages, and shifting skins of identity, many find themselves wandering, longing not for another new place, but for the deep belonging they once knew.
Longing for the earth, for the story, for the root.
"Tend the root, awaken the whole"

About us
We are Sam Carbon (PTSTA, UKCP) and Giovanni Felice Pace (PTSTA, UKCP, HCPC), two psychotherapists journeying toward becoming TSTA.
In honouring our own histories and identities, we believe we can hold space for the rich, diverse stories of others to unfold and heal.
Rooted in a deep faith in the power of community, we believe Transactional Analysis is called to be more than a method—it is a living compass, guiding practitioners home to themselves, their cultural roots, and into deeper connection with those they walk beside.
